| General Information: | Stools sent for CDPCR are screened with the SCDTAG (Clostridium difficile Antigen & Toxin A by EIA) test and CDPCR testing is performed reflexively, if indicated. CDPCR testing on subsequent specimens from patients with previously discrepant SCDTAG or CDPCR results do not need prescreening with the SCDTAG test.
